"RYOGA!" said Faroush.
"Huh?" asked Ryoga, absolutely not recognizing him.
"PRINCE?!" asked Lymselia, Lyon, Kyle, and Miakis as soon as they could catch up.
"Oh man, am I glad to see you!" said Faroush. "Hey, look. You want a job?"
"Do I know you?" asked Ryoga.
Ranma might have been sparing with compliments. Faroush knew they had their place. A distraction was JUST what he needed. "Sister, knights, I'd like you to meet one of the strongest, toughest, most capable martial artists I've ever heard of. Ryoga Hibiki."
"Have we met?" asked a very puzzled Ryoga.
"This guy goes wandering around, finding all kinds of fights and monsters and things," said Faroush, patting Ryoga on a shoulder. "And I'll tell you what buddy."
"We must have met," said Ryoga, scratching his head. "Where did we meet?"
"You want him to have a job, Prince?" asked Kyle.
"Come on, let's get away from the crowd," said Faroush, keeping one hand on Ryoga's shoulder to steer him.
"Okay, Prince, what are we talking about?" asked Lyon, hoping this guy wasn't the Prince's gay lover.
"Simple, Ryoga Hibiki is an honorable forthright guy," said Faroush, figuring that laying it on thick would probably do better than being stinting with praise. Besides, Ryoga hadn't figured out who he was yet.
"Oh nooooooo," said Lyon, covering her face.
"He also gets into enough trouble for ten people," said Faroush. "When you add in the factor that nobody in the nobility is going to know him..."
"A stalking-horse?" asked Kyle.
"Yup," said Faroush. "Ryoga here can do it, all he's ever needed is a chance to prove himself. We need someone to find trouble, and boy - can Ryoga find trouble!"
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" asked Ryoga.
Ranma took a little cup of water and splashed Ryoga. "In return for that, I'll have everyone who can do it research on how to cure your curse."
"BWEEE?!" asked Ryoga.
"He - he turned into a... pig?" asked Miakis.
Faroush nodded, having suspected that since Ryoga's clothes hadn't changed - nothing had changed. Looked like he was right. "So, Ryoga. I'm a Prince, and as a member of the Royal Family, I'll do everything I can to help you. Is it a deal?"
