But as he wiped the back of his hand across his forehead, he had to admit that things were going quite easily. Without Urd to worry about, there didn't seem to be anything that really needed him to be concerned over. The sole problems that would come up were of the sort that only naturally showed up, and he was perfectly able to handle those.
Of course, that did mean that he'd have to hurry. He didn't want be caught off guard when Ranma arrived. As it was, there was a lot to do, and he was working under the assumption that Ranma would want to stay at the temple. It was a safe bet, given the fact that Skuld was living there, so he was reasonably sure as to what things to do. Getting it done before the 'guest of honor' arrived seemed to be the ticket, as it would make things easier for the younger guy to settle in.
Of course, if word got out, there would likely be a lot of people ready to 'help' out. Some might be big helps, but others would certainly make trouble that he didn't need. It was hard for him to tell people who had the best intentions to lay off, but he knew that he might be called to do exactly that. Yet, he could not deny that they would have to be told, as they were going to want to celebrate the pigtailed boy's arrival just as much as he would.
Sighing to himself, he wiped his hand over his face. "They might be trouble, but at least they mean well. And he is someone that all the guys would want to see."
"Who would that be?" a familiar voice asked from behind him.
"Well, that would happen to be Ranma," he began... before he recognized the voice. "Eh?!"
"This is interesting," idly commented:
