Order and Chaos.
Creation and Entropy.
Yin and Yang.
Good and Evil.
Faces and Heels.
Err . . . wait a minute!
Imagine a single event.
It could be a single spark in a forest.
A simple flick of a computer key or mouse.
A single bullet fired from a gun.
Note that last example. It was such a single bullet, fired by a man named Gavrilo Princip in a city named Sarajevo on 28 June 1914, which eventually plunged all of Earth into the burning conflaguration known as the First World War, what then was hopefully called "The War To End All Wars."
And that eventually unleashed the Second World War not twenty years, nine months and twenty-two days after the first came to an end in the autumn of 1918.
And when that finally war came to an end on the weather deck of the U.S.S. Missouri, the seeds of what later came to be called the "Cold War" (or to some recent historians, the Third World War) were firmly planted.
And when that came to an end with the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, seeds had already been planted to eventually unleash what would later come to be called the "War on Terror" -- or to some, the Fourth World War.
You see it now, don't you?
From Order to Chaos, Chaos to Order.
From Life unto Death, Death unto new Life.
It's a never-ending cycle.
And all that cycle needs to renew itself is a simple spark.
Even better, as the two most recent "world wars" have shown, sometimes great acts of Chaos don't have to involve the traditional movement of vast armies across fields of honour, resulting in a nightmare of casualties and the gutting of entire generations of the young and innocent.
Sometimes, it can only require just one death -- or several -- to unleash the dominoes of Fate that would forever change whole societies.
So where will the spark begin to unleash Chaos this time?
Will it be with . . .
