Angrily, Setsuna paced up and down inside the chamber of the Time Gates. Once again, the Sailor Senshi have been reincarnated, and once again, something unpredictable happened.
Oh, it's not the fact that they weren't humans anymore that bothered her, no, no! Not even the fact that she, Luna and Artemis were the only ones that remembered their formal lives. In this reincarnation, most of them had respectful duties as guardians of the balance of nature and the elemental forces.
The reason why she was upset was because in this form, she wasn't even big enough to carry her own key staff.
"Biiii..." Setsuna muttered angrily.
And so, the reincarnated Sailor Pluto, also known as the Pokémon Celebi, continued to do her duties, with an angry scowl on her adorable little face...

Ash sighed as he and Ami were sitting on the beach of Seafoam Island, watching the stars in the evening skies.
At first, Ash had said he only wanted to stay until his clothes were dry. Then, he asked if he could stay just another day. Than another day. And then another one.
By now, it has been almost a week since he arrived on the island.
But, deep inside he knew he had to go back to his friends. Surely, they would believe he drowned that night.
Also, Ami knew that she couldn't stay here on her summer residence forever. Someone had to keep an eye on Ice Island during her absence.
She sighed. "Ash... those past few days have been the most wonderful days in my life... and I wish it could continue like this. But you know that we have to go back, both of us, do you?"
Ash nodded. "Yeah, I know... And to tell you the truth, I'm really looking forward to see Pikachu again... and Mom... and Brock and Misty, too. But, you know... every time I imagine waking up without you lying next to me... I'm getting afraid."
Ami smiled. "That was sweet of you, Ash," she said and gave him a small kiss. "But you know we cannot go on like this forever. Also, as the guardian of Ice Island, I have duties..."
"But why can't you just take a longer vacation?" Ash asked. "Ask someone else to take care of your island for you! Someone you can trust! And you can come with me. Just for a few weeks... and I can introduce you to my Mom and my friends. What do you say?"
Articuno/Ami was thinking of it. It WAS tempting, but... deep inside, she knew that if she would do it, that week could easily turn into a month or even a year...
But... when she imagined waking up one morning without Ash lying next to her...

Ash waited impatiently while Ami was standing on the highest point of the island with closed eyes. She didn't say anything, but he knew she communicated with someone...
Then, she opened her eyes again and smiled. She quickly turned her arms back into wings and came flying back to him.
After the wings became arms again, she told him: "I asked Suicune to take a look after my island every now and then. He wasn't exactly enthusiastic about my plan, but he agreed to do it... If I really came back after a week."
Ash nodded, a little sad. "Yeah... that means you'll have to leave afterwards... but that's okay! One week is more than I was hoping for! So, how are we going to go to Cinnabar Island? You'll let me ride on your back?"
Ami giggled. "No, silly! I don't want too many people to know about me. And when the Legendary Bird Articuno would appear on Cinnabar Island, just to drop off a young trainer like you, people were bound to ask questions. No, I'll call one of my friends who's living nearby... She's a gentle Lapras who has been living here for years. Surely she will do me a small favor."
"Great!" Ash was practically beaming. "Let's go, then!"

Lapras was more than willing to take Ash and Ami to Cinnabar Island from where the young Pokémon trainer could call home.
Ami owned very few things, as she normally spent more time in her birth form. After both of them were ready, Ami looked one last time back to the peaks of the twin island and sighed. She was about to enter the world of the humans, which she and the other Legendaries had preferred to avoid all over the past eons.
But, after meeting Ash, she got curious... She wanted to see more of his world, see the human cities from within, interact with the humans, hear about their view of the world, and, most important: She wanted to spend more time with Ash...
She turned around. "I'm ready! Let's go!"
