And she seemed to have been rather... odd right then.
"Okay, I understand the whole 'need to be a guy' thing," Ranma muttered in mild confusion. "But do ya really want ta go with this form?"
"Oh, but of course!" his mother confirmed with a happy little smile.
"I see...."
"Do you? I wasn't too sure that you would...."
"That much is true...." her son idly commented.
"Pardon?"
"Mom? This isn't exactly what ya described. Ya said that ya wanted him ta be able to do stuff as a guy, to take care of his 'responsibilities', or something like that. This...."
"I know, and I really shouldn't have done it this way...." Nodoka admitted with a sigh, but didn't seem to be too disappointed, if her negligent shrug was any indication. "I saw this choice, and I simply could not avoid picking it."
"This one?"
"Exactly."
"And that is because...."
"I knew that he would look just so cute!" the Saotome matriarch declared, rubbing her hands together with girlish glee.
Genma, who really was cute in a 'boy magician' sort of way in his little skull outfit, didn't really see the attraction to the idea. All he could do was pout, and wonder where his authority in his family had gone. At the moment though, he was stuck looking like a little boy going to a costume party, while:
