There really wasn't anything abnormal about this in and of itself at all, since the fabric of reality, like most other things, did tend to get worn out over time. And there wasn't anything exactly abnormal about how the Multiverse itself choose to solve the problem, either (assuming that the Multiverse actually does such things as choosing and thinking, that is...)
Once the ruckus was over, the danger of Reality Collapse was gone for the forseen duration, which made many entities happy. The minor fact that various Timelines had been amalagated into something like 22 percent of the 'amount' they had been 'before', on the other hand, did tend to give a whole lot of them headaches or the equivalent.
Though most of them did agree that it was better then Everything being just Gone.
There were many, many Timelines which had been combined and recombined in fashions that were quite frankly mindboggling to most of the Beings actually percieving this.
And among those many, many Timeline Clusters was one that tended to draw some attention, for various and sundry reasons.
It was 'The Timeline Cluster of Living Vehicles' or 'Living Mechs', according to one version of Sailor Pluto. For some reason, the major pattern of Living Things for that particular Timeline Cluster had been of the 'Living Machine' type, all across the various galaxies, with the non-machine types being a clear minority, if they existed at all.
It was all quite mindboggling, to quote the mentioned worthy...
