Missing Persons-Ecchi: Duplicate problems (DARK) [Episode 179420]

by Kestral

The "midboss" had been at work, doing something designed to sabotage Ecchi and cause her plans to hit a SNAFU.

One of the first things hit had been the Counters, which kept track of the number of times a copy had been made before switching to the "Slave Mold" formed from each of the originals. Not an obvious manner either, it would be obvious elsewhere later with the results. Resetting the count to a lower number would not be expected of some rampaging monster swept here through dimensional flux. Part of the rampage had struck several of the "molds" formed of the template created from the originals. This would seal the doom of the rebel without further directly involving the Wizard.

Each doll made from the process was preset to be a "loving and obedient" servant to the one who had awakened them.

Which made the 05 series that had just been rescued a bit of a problem.

Cologne had awoken some. Ranma had awoken others. The odd coffin arrangements had caused a few moments of panic, but the girls had awoken quite quickly. That they were all wearing these odd outfits was a trifle bizarre, it being a black leotard with "05" in white stencil on the chest.

Ranma had awoken six girls before he had found Akane. That Akane was not reacting negatively to what she was wearing and was smiling all-friendly towards him was a bit strange. Cologne had awoken seven.

"Get ready, all of you," said Cologne, holding the mirror up. "Before Ranma's mid-boss completely recovers."

Ranma growled something in response to that, then spoke up. "Everyone grab hold."

GLOMP! GRAB! GROPE! HUG! EMBRACE! SNAG!

"Ah," said Ranma, not having expected this.

Cologne took the hand of one of the girls who'd grabbed Ranma, and rolled her eyes. Sometimes son-in-law's antics were amusing, and other times they were tiresome. Oh well, had get to work. That ooze-monster was rapidly getting itself freed of the portions currently dealing with that powdery substance from the fire extinguisher.

"All of you, link hands, form a circle with myself and son-in-law," the aged matriarch instructed. Cologne's tear touched the mirror and the world dissolved in white light.

Akane was briefly at rest but then felt the odd draining sensation again.

"We have to rebuild the sections that were damaged."

"We found the creature and have terminated its lifesigns. Status?"

"Dimensional breeches found, repaired, defenses being developed to buffer d-walls."

"The molds were damaged during the fight in this sector. Twelve molds affected, damage ranging from 10% to 80%. We're rescanning the originals to repair the damage."

"What about the counts?"

"These molds were apparently not finished anyway, so the actual problems don't apply unless we go over ten. Then they'd fade a little bit more with each copy until we reach twenty, in which case they'd be dolls like us."

"Wouldn't they notice the improvements?"

Akane stirred slightly as she felt another draining.

"Oh no, we modified the originals. Adding the bigger bust and other adaptations - then the last thing to do is muddle the memories. When we drop them off, they'll also have a strong desire not to face whatever befell them - because they've been unconscious all this time - no actual memories."

"The readings on this Akane unit indicate borderline wakefulness."

"Oh gosh, I'll adjust the subdual feed. Can't have that."

A dark Abyss seemed to open up beneath Akane, warm and soft it enveloped her.

The draining this time seemed a sort of dark delight that left trails of pleasure as she succumbed.
