"That's a funny looking cat," said the one still holding Luna.
"Heavy one too," said the one under Pepe. "When I get up I'll -"TWUNG!
A tranparent green line was snaking out from Pepe's tail and had just crossed the face of the boy he was on top of. His eyes crossed, began watering, and he turned sort of chartreuse.
"Are you okay, man, you don't look so good," offered one of his friends. TWUNG! "Urk!"
The third looked from one friend to another, wondering for a moment what was going on. TWUNG!
The third kid slowly put Luna back down on the ground. There was a brief moment of silence.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" screamed three kids as they ran away.
"No doubt they have realized the error of their ways," said Pepe, knowing that as a Frenchman he was allowed to be properly menacing when coming to the aid of the fair damsel. It was only proper and civilized, after all. "Now, on to ze good part." ZIP!
Luna blinked wildly. She was being grabbed and held?
"Ah le petit cabbage blossom, this must be ze fate - us meeting like this," declared Pepe. "You must be weary and frightened from your ordeal, yes? Never fear! I know ze perfect spot for you to regain your sorts and for perhaps us to get ze better acquainted, yes?"
TWUNG!
Luna didn't realize her fur had just poofed out, or that her expression resembled something Picasso might have painted. ZIP! What she DID realize was that she was leaving with all due haste.
"Ah," said Pepe, waggling his eyebrows. "Ze Japanese maiden. So tidy. So shy. So rowrr-rowrrrrr. I must give le chase just to make sure she is not ze injured, yes?" bouncity-bounce-bouncity-bounce
In a cat travel-carrier, somewhere in Uzbekistan with the rest of Minako's luggage, someone was asking a question.
"WHERE THE HELL AM I NOW?!"
Setsuna Meiou wondered if it were too late to get Ranma back. While having him around was chaotic and tended to have superhumanly powerful martial artists and silly protaganists showing up, she never had to deal with boomerang fish.
BOOM!
Much less EXPLODING boomerang fish.
Marching out of the resulting smoke cloud, Setsuna got back to the area of the Gates. Only to find the Gates were missing.
"Okay," said Setsuna, only now noticing that she'd turned back from being Sailor Pluto. "NOW what?"
Meanwhile, Usagi Tsukino was about to meet her new advisor who would give her a henshin brooch and tell her that she could become Sailor Moon. Which would be particularly odd because it would be:
