Minako groaned.
"One of her friends has to marry the boy who defeated her?" asked Haruka.
"If someone is able to penetrate the illusions and space-distorting field surrounding this place, as well as defeat one of the inhabitants, he is likely to possess some qualities which would be of use here," said Setsuna. "Not to mention he'd have to be able to handle weirdness. The whole thing came to be back in the Feudal Era when there was a point where the available menfolk were at a minimum, and some means of bringing new blood into the village was needed."
"Hmph," said Haruka, who could see the need for new blood but was still unhappy with the practice.
"The others are monitoring where the boy is?" asked Setsuna.
"Michiru's keeping an eye on him," admitted Haruka.
"Yes, her powers are ideal for such a task," agreed Setsuna. "That leaves his capture. Who will do it?"
