[Let's try this.] read the Coyote sign, as he pulled a large remote control out and pointed it at Sailor Mercury.

"WAIT!" said Sailor Mercury, not entirely sure of what to expect.

Sailor Mercury slowly stopped wincing. "It didn't do anything?"

"Ahem," said Ami's mother.

"WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" said Wakko and Yakko, tongues lolling out to a ridiculous extreme.

"Okay, that outfit is from Lingerie Fighter Papillon Rose," said Dot. "Not that I watch such things."

"Can I borrow the tape?" asked Yakko. Wakko nodded enthusiastically.

"Not that I would have such a thing," said Dot, handing over a stack of fansubs.

[Oops], predictably read the Coyote-sign. The Coyote began turning dials and then pointed the device again. [This time for sure!]

"The lights went out," said Wakko.

"But everyone's home," said Yakko.

"Why am I getting a draft?" asked Doctor Mizuno.

"Fumoffu?" asked Ami, wondering why she was now in some plushy cartoon-character costume.

"Do you want to try again?" asked Dot.

"The lights are back on," helpfully pointed out Wakko.

"Why are YOU dressed as Sailor Mercury?" asked Yakko.

[I'd like to know that myself.] read the Coyote sign, with the Coyote looking significantly vexed at this development.

"You really don't have the legs for it," helpfully pointed out Wakko.

"I have a feeling this is going to take awhile," said Bunnygirl Ami.

"I have a feeling you're right," agreed Ami's mother, wearing a very nice set of samurai armor.

"damn commercials Oh well, might as well get this over with. Come forth my Dark Generals," proclaimed Beryl. "I have just hired some NEW Dark Generals."

"Jedite couldn't make it," said Nephrite. "He ate some mortal food. Turns out he's got some enzyme deficiency because he hasn't eaten regular food in a couple thousand years. Essentially food poisoning."

"Really?" asked Beryl. "He thinks to shirk my summoning for that?"

"Uhm, right now he's spewing from every available orifice, My Queen," pointed out Nephrite. "You really don't want him anywhere near Your Eminence."

"Ah, right," said Beryl. "Sam?"

"I'm Dark General Yosemite Sam!" said a short redhead. "I'm the rootingest tootingest baddestingest evil Dark General that ever was. I'm the worst Dark General east, west, north, annnnd SOUTH of the Pecos!"

"Ah hah," said a clearly not impressed Nephrite, quite informed about the double meaning of the term 'worst' in this instance. "All right."

"Dark General Elmira! Dark General Azusa!"

"Dark General Azusa just grabbed ahold of some white cat, named him Francoise, and ran off with him," helpfully said Elmira. That she had seen him FIRST and she wanted to get even with Azusa was entirely in-genre. Or something.

"Are you sure about this My Queen?" asked Nephrite, wondering what the Dark Kingdom was coming to.

"Ohhhh, the programs back on," said Beryl, staring into her crystal ball. "Hmmmm. That Daffy reminds me of someone. Nephrite! See if you can find a way to capture some Road Runners. It looks as if that would be an excellent source of energy for the Dark Kingdom."

Nephrite shrugged. What could you do?

Kumori Mizuno let out a deep breath. "Is it over?"

"Yes, we think so," began Yakko.

"Indeed, it was but a momentary puzzle to one of MY intellect," said the mouse with the really big (in proportion) head.

"So I'm Sailor Mercury," said Ami, holding up the pen.

"Yes, and your mother is now, due to circumstances beyond our control," said Brain, whose motivation in this scene was becoming an advisor of these Sailor Senshi - ingratiating himself into their presence and then eventually becoming the power behind the throne when they EVENTUALLY RULED THE WORLD! "As you can see she is likewise inflicted with a henshin-style transformation. In her case becoming:"
