Torajin: Big And Blue [Episode 184164]

by Kender

There hadn't been much time for Kuno to notice the sorcerer's smirk, not that he had been looking. Rather, he was too busy posing to recognize that he might have done something that could blow up in his face. After all, he could not conceive of himself making such a mistake, and he was so certain that he had found his way to win that he'd already started mentally planning out the invitations for his wedding to Akane Tendo.

But, when the pain started, he managed to pay attention to something other than his own ego.

It was like his body was trying to pull itself apart, stretching, expanding, and twisting in ways that no human was supposed to head. He didn't have a choice though, as all he could do was bend forward and stare at nothing through wide eyes as his flesh tightened and stretched, even managing to take the words from his mouth. Glancing down at one of his forearms, he could see it bulging and changing colors, both of which were not supposed to happen.

When the pain subsided, he was a new man... of a sort. Rather than the old style clothing that he had been wearing, he looked like he was dressed in a form fitting version of samurai armor... that was at least a third more than his own height. Rounded shoulder guards capped his arms, with little spikes following the beginning of his arm. The 'helmet' was sleek, with the length of the back part looking a bit stretched out... and sealed, but when one looked at the mask that was supposed to be covering him up, it turned that the mask itself was now his face, and that both the helmet and it were moulded as one piece. His armor' bits, including the shoulder, shin guards and helmet were all in the same deep shade of blue, over what looked to be a padded black bodysuit.

What had happened was not so much that he'd gained this clothing, but that it was actually his body.

"I can feel the power running through my veins," the transformed would be samurai declared as he looked down at one bulked up hand and squeezed it into a fist. "You should be thanked for what you have done this day."

"Yes, yes, I know how skilled I am. You do not have to tell me. Just keep yourself from being in my way," the sorcerer insisted, giving a grouchy look towards the two teens.

"I will, but know this. I have found true power through your strength and will power."

"How nice...."

"I would believe so. So, now you have what you wanted. Do not bother me with any more such petty problems."

"That much I would do on my own," Kuno insisted, sounding like he was talking through a long distance.

"Good. Now start."

"So I shall," Kuno declared, turning... and wound up nearly knocking over the cauldron.

This was not something that the sorcerer quite expected, but then he wasn't exactly shocked by it. As he watched, he saw that the teenaged boy was making all of his movements go wider than they needed to, which would have been odd... had the magician not known that something like this could happen. That meant that the practitioner of the dark arts only had to watch to see the boy move in whichever direction that he was moving to, but in exaggerated manners, showing more strength than grace.

And such a description was exactly what was going on. Physically, Kuno's 'battle form' was powerful and strong, but it didn't have any finesse, nor did it have a focus. What it did have was a physical toughness that would protect it from hits, as was demonstrated as the boy tried to leave, and nearly slammed through the wall on his first try.

Of course, this also meant that the boy in question was about to crash and stumble his way out, which was not fun for the sorcerer, who had to watch as the guy tried to move his body with some sort of grace, and merely flexed powerful muscles. That lent him to look like a really big flounder flopping around, which might have amused the sorcerer, who had the humor lost to him. He did know that in focusing on a leap in strength, the boy had not gained in agility.

Pinching the bridge of his nose, the sorcerer wondered if this boy was really as idiotic as he seemed, while:
