None of that particularly worked for Akane. She didn't have the patience to do the 'sniper thing', wasn't too sure about how long it'd take her to train an animal, hadn't managed to run with equal agility, and wasn't all that keen on tempting guys she wasn't attracted to. And since she was getting frustrated with how the sole guy that she actually would have liked finding her attractive wasn't showing any interest, she wasn't sure how well she could managed the last one anyway.
Not that she minded those facts all that much.
She had something of her own to bring to the table, what with her natural strength. Being strong and tough, she could manage a lot of power that other ninjas would miss out on. Darting in and out of a fight might be beyond her, but she could certainly hit hard and fast.
That was exactly why she was focusing in on the 'Iron Eagle Claw'. As it was, she was already a good grappler and power house. Using quick, hard strikes that used a combination of strength, positioning, and pressure points seemed to be the best option for her. With this particularly technique, she would be able to focus her energy a blow so hard that it would humble even the strongest fighters.
Being a 'shadow warrior' might be her position in life, but nothing said that she couldn't take down her opponents with fast and direct strikes.
Still, she had a lot of work to do to get herself to where she wanted to be, though she didn't mind that fact at all, while:
