"We are the most powerful female group in Furinkan," said a girl with a motorcycle chain. "Chain Yuka."
"I'm Akane," said a girl who was tightening a pair of leather gloves. "You've cleared the two weakest fighters in our group, want to try your luck with the best?"
"Do you attack everyone who shows up at your school on a Sunday?" asked Ranma, putting his hands in his pockets. "We're just lookin' for the dorms."
"I think that's them," said Konoka, pointing to some other buildings.
"Hey, you think you can just ignore Red Haze?" asked Sayuri.
"If you're here for an education, let me show you," said Yuka, charging forward, "your first lesson!"
Ranma had been wanting to try out a new technique. Unfortunately, trying it out in combat would require a tough enough opponent to use it against. This wasn't it. He simply deflected the arm with the chain, stepped inside her guard, elbow extending to contact her face.
From Yuka's reaction, you'd think she had run into the school wall. She staggered back two steps and went down.
"I guess you warrant my personal attention," said Akane, tossing her pack of cigarettes off to Sayuri. She grinned as she settled into an attack stance. "And here I was worried about another boring day on guard duty."
