And she knew that they were going to be worrying about her. Until she'd finally met Ranma Saotome, that had been her only comfort, as she had the certainty of knowing just how her friends would have been behaving in her absence. Even as she'd been taken away, there had been clear signs of their feelings, such as the words that they had called out when she'd left.
Miss Naru had tried to yell out words of comfort and support. Warnings had been what Motoko had tried to pass on, but Naru had tried to downplay those possible problems, though it had seemed to be in part due to her own fear of such things coming Shinobu's way. The kendo practitioner had retorted that such things happened with unfortunate regularity, and Kitsune had added that it was true that there were plenty of men who purposely brought young and virginal looking girls to take advantage of them, up to and including certain intimacies. That had frozen Naru solid... until she started screaming out her own warnings about such perverts. All of them barked at poor Keitaro who didn't say much, but that seemed to be from his own distress over what was happening to her.
Of course, she wasn't too sure that she wanted to know exactly what had been going on behind Su's eyes, as that expression had seemed to be a bit odd.
Still, she had this chance to return to the Inn, and she wanted to take it. In part, this would be a chance to smooth away their worries, as she was in a comfortable and safe position as a slave to a boy who treated her more as the little sister that he'd never had. Her Master certainly wasn't the sort who'd be rushing to do anything nasty to her, and she was sure that once he found out about the plans, he'd have no problem with the detour.
To tell the truth, he'd probably actively support the idea, even if his father didn't like it. He might even go with it simply due to the fact that it'd put the elder Saotome into a bad mood, and would make her happy. That sort of loyalty towards her also gave her a bit of a desire to 'show him off' to her friends, since she was actually proud of him. Having them all be friends would be rather nice, and getting to be surrounded by all that she treasured was a pretty welcome proposition.
Not that she expected them to stay there. It would be a bit much to believe that would be possible, and she fully thought that they would move on after the visit. Sure, it would be wonderful to have a room at the Inn where she could stay with her Master, but having a male manager was already pushing it. Combined with the wandering that both Saotome men seemed prone to, the possibility of staying in one place seemed to be rather unlikely.
She just comforted herself with the knowledge that she'd be able to visit, possibly with the opportunities of return visits, while:
