"Don't worry, Soun," said Genma. "With my quick training methods, I can bring her up to a competent level in a few days!"
"A few days, that doesn't seem that likely," said Soun.
"Wouldja believe a week, maybe a month," tried Genma.
"Good enough, Saotome," said Soun, pouncing on the idea.
"I the great Tatewaki Kuno doth say thee NAY!" said a bokuto-wielding maniac as he protested the upcoming nuptials.
"Hmmm," said Nabiki, thinking she had a way to derail the whole thing while Kuno distracted everyone. She had the right numbers memorized.
Genma sighed and threw Tatewaki Kuno back over the fence. "I can see why the boy found this tiresome."
"He just keeps coming back," said Soun. "Maybe we should try something else."
"I FIGHT ON!" said Tatewaki Kuno, destroying a section of wall.
"Why didn't you just use the holes you've already made?" asked Soun.
"Dramatic effect," declared Tatewaki Kuno, brandishing his bokuto again.
"Oh my," said Kasumi, getting out her broom and beginning to sweep up brick dust.
"I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER ACCEPT THE -" THWACK!
Tatewaki Kuno stopped moving. Cologne came walking around him. "Okay, may I see if I understand this situation?"
"Okay," said Soun, grateful that his walls weren't being destroyed.
"Ranma was wished out of existence by Akane," stated Cologne. "Akane has now been sharing the sheets with Ryoga. As such, you are going to marry Ryoga and Akane so that no further dishonor occurs."
"Great grandma! I brought food!" said Shampoo, lugging a cart full of boxes.
"Ungh," said Mousse, carrying a large table.
"Why are you being so helpful?" asked Soun, eyeing the food.
"Akane will marry Lost Boy, that suit Shampoo just fine," said Shampoo.
"Not you, HER," said Soun, indicating Cologne.
"Why not?" said Cologne. "I haven't been able to figure out how to reach Ranma or even determine if he is alive or dead. Maybe something will come up or jog my memory at a festive occasion like this."
"I say let her provide the food and such," whispered Genma to Soun, "that and a few witnesses will help cement the union."
"I suspect you have another motivation here," stated Soun drily.
"I found a priest who may be suitable for the job," stated Kasumi, now taking out a featherduster to dust off the Kuno-statue. "He's even a martial artist of the Dungeonkeeper Style Of Constraint And Binding Martial Arts."
"That sounds perfect, Kasumi!" agreed Soun. "Wait a minute. Where'd that boy go?"
