That same sort of desire was what had her sitting with her hands squeezing to become fists as she struggled to keep a smile on her face.
Not that she was particularly finding anything to dislike about this newcomer to her Master's service. Sure, it was a bit disheartening to note that Saki had a nice figure, including a bust that brought out a bit of jealousy in Mahoro. But this unit was showing a lot of calm and quiet in her behavior, which she found pleasing. It was good to know that this other slave would be someone who wasn't about to cause some sort of mess. If it had been some sort of overenthusiastic airhead who would act all perverted with her Master, or some troublemaker who'd jump to argue with her, she would have been rather annoyed by the newcomer.
However, she reserved her grumbling for another direction. "Stupid perverted scientists...."
"Eh?" went one researcher, as he had been close enough to hear that she'd said something. "Is something the matter?"
"What? No.... I mean, there's nothing wrong with her as she is...."
"But...."
"Are you trying to tempt my Master into something? Giving him a pretty girl...."
The researcher stared at her for a long moment, and then grinned. "Trust me, how she looks wasn't our choice. Remember what she said. She was created decades ago. The one who designed her made her look like that, and he's been gone for all this time."
"I guess that you're right...."
"You still have something against it."
"He had to be a pervert," she said sourly. "Making sure to create a robot that looked as attractive as possible."
"I'm not so sure that he was all that much of a pervert...."
"Eh? Why?"
"You were created in the image of a pretty girl, and there was nothing overly erotic about that idea."
A blush stole across her cheeks, and she glanced down before her thoughts showed clearly in her eyes. "I guess not. It's just that.... I have to be worried."
"Why is that?"
"Because someone has to watch out for him! My Master might be a strong fighter, and a good person, but there is so much temptation out there, even if he doesn't look for it."
"There's that much?" he asked, his brows raising in surprise.
"Definitely! And his father's no help at all! If he's not being a big glutton or coming up with some sort of scheme, he just lays about! And that's with all sorts of people coming to bother Master all the time! It's bad enough when fighters come to challenge him, but when those... those... women come and tease him like that...."
"You don't like that."
"Of course!" she vehemently confirmed, shaking a finger at the researcher like a schoolmarm. "I think that dirty thoughts are bad!"
He knew that it hadn't been meant to be funny, but he couldn't help laughing. "Don't worry about it. Remember, it's not like he's totally defenseless."
"I know. I'm there for him all the time."
"Exactly. And it's not like there's not any real problem with him having opportunities. I mean, if a guy wants to discover what that sort of thing is like, he can have a slave who can help him learn...."
"Ye... well... that's true," Mahoro allowed, twiddling the fingers of her hands as she admitted that little truth.
"But I don't think that you're going to have to immediately worry about that. I mean, he just activated Saki, which means that you're going to have a sister slave...."
"Oh, that's right!"
"You sound rather... emphatic on that point," he slowly told her.
"Well, she's been offline for a really long time, and hasn't been in Master's service before."
"So?"
"'So'.... She'll need someone to teach her the ropes. Someone is going to have to help her learn how to be a proper slave now. It's a slave maid's duty to make certain that her fellow slaves are properly helped in everything."
"Which means...." he trailed off.
"I'm going to help Saki however I can. It can't be nice to wake up so far away from home, and...."
"What?"
"I really need to show her how to handle Master's father's... behavior, away from scientists who trick people into kissing...." Mahoro murmured, looking supremely set upon her goal, while:
