"I really wouldn't expect otherwise," grumbled the two Misty as various scanners worked them over.
"Well, let's see what happens if I do this," said Nanako, picking up a large hypodermic and stepping over to the first one.
"Ah, you figured out she was the fake one," said the other Misty.
"WAIT! I'm the real one!" simultaneously said the Misty Nanako was about to give an injection to.
"Hold on," said Nanako, who then followed with the words that patients everywhere have learned to dread "there may be a momentary discomfort."
"YEOWTCHHHHHHH!" called out both Misty.
Nanako blinked, looked over, and then stared at where the OTHER Misty now had a reddish patch and drop of blood exactly where the one she'd given the shot to had developed one. "Now THAT may complicate matters a bit."
"What the hell? WHAT DID YOU DO?!" asked both Misty as they rubbed the afflicted arm.
"So you're going to try and duplicate what happened to Misty with Ash?" asked Brock.
"Of course not," said the Professor. "If I was going to try that with anyone it would be Nurse Nanako."
"Professor! You're a genius!" said Brock.
"I know, I know," said the Professor, preening slightly.
"I am NOT filled with confidence," said Ash from the test chamber as he heard the motors moving the reinforcement bars into place in the test chamber's door.
"Oh, be a MAN, will you Ash? What HAS gotten into you?" asked the Professor.
"It's what might be getting into me that has me worried," said Ash. If only they'd stayed unconscious when he'd tried to drag them into the test chamber.
A tube extended down from the ceiling, latching into the floor as the other had. When the tube retracted, clear goo spilled forth - along with a form.
