Ranma had the blood of a Toushin coursing through his veins the report in Alucard's hands stated in black and white. And not any Toushin but Ranma was of the royal bloodline, thus making him heir to the strongest demon of the Makai! How this happened was anyone's guess although Alucard was betting on whatever divine force brought Ranma into existence also choose Ranma's father for a reason. Now what on Earth was he supposed to due about this little fact?
If this fact were to come out then the reactions of everybody would be shocking. The queen and a few members of the round table would accept Ranma; the little boy was quite the charmer. However Alucard worried about those two hardliners that advocated his and Seras's deaths. The thought that heir of the Hellsings would be a demon prince would either give them a heart attack or drive them to try and kill everyone on the estate.
Seras was easy to peg as to her reaction. Alucard knew that she would be shocked but then she would accept it and continue to treat Ranma the same as always. Integra wasn't as hard as others might have thought. Although some might claim that she would pull the trigger herself on her son Alucard knew otherwise. As devout as Integra was to the Church she, unlike a certain paladin; was capable of looking at the situation realistically. Not only was an heir to the Hellsing bloodline imperative but the chances of Ranma remaining a single child were almost certain. Thus offing Ranma would be a bad long term move.
Besides, Integra loved Ranma dearly with all her heart and the thought of him in pain already drove her up the wall. So her killing him was out of the question. Also, Integra was also good friends with Seras so having a half-demonic child wouldn't be too hard to accept after having a vampire for a close friend.
After thinking about everything Alucard put the papers in the brown envelope they had came in. He then place the envelope in his coat pocket so that only he could get to the papers. Alucard's mind was made up; the identity of Ranma's father would stay with him to the grave or until it was necessary for others to know. As much as he like causing chaos, the kind of chaos that would come from this information that would be directed towards the Mistress and young Master were unacceptable in Alucard's mind.
