Hotaru looked at her hands, clenching them briefly, then just shrugged.
"You both received extensive damage," said the doctor. "We had to work at it quite a bit just to keep you alive."
"now I'll never get married," muttered Minako.
"Why does THAT follow?" asked a very puzzled doctor.
"Is that why these are bigger?" asked Hotaru, pointing to a feature on Minako.
"Hmmm," hmmmed Minako, having not considered that angle.
"Well, yes, most ladies around her age - if they're going for cyborg reconstruction - put in for that sort of enhancement," said a slightly embarassed doctor.
jiggle jiggle squeeze squeeze
"Uhm, you can do that later, if you don't mind," said the doctor.
"Oh, right," said Minako.
Hotaru pouted at not having gotten the same treatment.
"In any case, there are care and maintenance instructions," said the doctor, handing them little flash drives. "We'll be shipping you out to Fleet later."
"'Fleet'?" asked Minako, distracted from her cleavage.
"You racked up some hospital bills when we rescued you," said the doctor. "This also gets you a job. Food, repairs, and so on."
He was low on power, having had to subdue the power of Jenova that had been given him.
Now all he had to do was slay the one whose curse had made it all possible, then he would be in complete control of the power of his mother Jenova as well as his own.
"Where are you, little fighter?" asked Sephiroth as he flitted along the peaks. He'd found out in that odd space of mists where Ranma had been - a fortuitous glimpse as that blue-haired girl had been thrown back by the force of his attack. Now all he had to do was - What was SHE doing here? Not to mention alive? Well, he'd just have the pleasure of killing her a second time.
His sword out, he plummeted towards the helpless girl standing in the snow.
Aerith paused as Ranma came alert of a sudden. She briefly wondered why, since he had ceded control to her so that she could manifest and enjoy the night air.
When her body spun and staff rotated to deflect a sword strike, she saw why. Sephiroth? Here?
The staff spun through a quarter revolution before the butt end slammed into an ivory throat.
"GAKK!" managed Sephiroth, not having seen that coming.
Cloud paused, Tifa paused, Yuffie just flat out stared with her mouth hanging open. They'd expected to run into that martial artist guy up here at that mountain cabin. This hadn't been in the plans.
"Uhm, guys?" asked Red Thirteen. "Is that Aerith beating the high holy heck out of Sephiroth?"
"Oh good, you see it too," said Yuffie, relieved.
"Wa-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-TAAAAH!" called out Aerith, landing a twenty hit combo on Sephiroth and sending him flying backwards.
"Uhh, that was unex-" managed Sephiroth before Aerith was back in his face.
