"Because eight year old children go to school," said Soun Tendo.
"Oh man," complained Ranma. "Guess I'll see everyone when I get home."
"Why?" asked Soun. "They're going too."
"What?!" said several pokegirls.
"This'll be SO neat," indicated Akane.
"Oh dear," said Kasumi, wishing that she could go to school with pokegirls too. Alas, being three years older meant Middle School.
"We get to go too?" asked Makoto. "What if I need to root?"
"They'll be making arrangements," said Soun.
"They're going with me?" asked Ranma. Ami he could picture in school. Usagi? Minako?
"I've heard of 'special needs children'," said Principal Togashi. "Potting soil? 'Tail and mane' Shampoo/Conditioner? A scratching post?"
"You think that's bad, you should see the medical supplies," commented Nurse Hayashibara.
"Bwahahaha!" laughed the gym coach. "Just wait till the interscholastics!"
"That's concerning," commented Principal Togashi.
"You should see the math teacher," commented Nurse Hayashibara.
"'The nail that sticks out gets pounded down'," quoted Principal Togashi. "Except that these particular nails aren't going to fit into normal society in the first place."
"Oh, I don't know," said Nurse Hayashibara. "I think they've already begun finding their own niches."
