There wouldn't be any rushing on his part though. Perhaps darting from hiding spot to hiding spot to avoid detection might have helped, but he wasn't about to test that theory. Haste held the possibility of leaving him open to mistakes that he couldn't allow. Since it wasn't like the signal watch was about to produce legs and start running about, there was no need to do anything but take it nice and slow.
Though, he would have thought that there would have been more security placed on the exterior of the structure where the humaniform was being held. Despite the absence of a 'cold war', there was still plenty of discord on the issue of how best to deal with the human's situation. The very mission that JIN-2 was on was part of that very fact, and as he slipped along the grounds of the building, he wondered why he had not seen any sort of real defense network.
Having EMP pulse guns and beam sensors make sudden appearances and be directed towards him did help him in revising his opinion of the opposing forces' strategies.
Gambler Bunnygirl 45807 wasn't exactly a stupid robot, despite being designed to look like a girl willing to sleep with anyone. Being able to handle the complex equations and many orders that she'd gotten were only part of what made them quite useful units. Back before the disappearance of humanity, they had been useful as everything from advertising space, to card dealers, to security cameras. That made them quite adaptable, and usable in a great many situations.
On the other hand, she had to thank her luck that she was not a combat model. Had she been something obviously designed for infiltration, she would have been immediately in trouble. As it was, she wasn't seen as an actual threat, as far as she could tell. After all, who would see a bunnygirl as anything but a service robot, given that her type usually could barely handle a drunk or two.
"Please identify yourself, and the nature of your business in this complex," stated a voice from behind her.
Turning, she saw that the 'jig was up', so to speak. Her realization didn't come from the fact that she was now facing down a squat mini-mech unit. Had that merely been it, she would have felt a bit put out.
Given that her stare was fixed upon the sight of the other machine's gatling gun 'arms' pointed at her nose, she was understandable frozen for a moment there.
"You are ordered to surrender. Failure to comply will designate you as an 'enemy' and allow for the use of lethal force," the other unit said in its clearly electronic voice. "What is your choice?"
Smiling nervously, she gave a weak laugh and hoped that she wouldn't be soon separated from her legs.
"Ahhh... this feels real good," Ranma sighed as he slipped into the waters of the hot spring.
The woman in the kimono who was kneeling nearby let her lips curve a bit. "Then you're enjoying yourself?"
"Yup. Not that I understand why I got sent way out there."
"So that this way you may be taught how to enhance your abilities," the hostess robot replied. "Though, I for one think that it is nice to have a guest again."
"Me too. But.... I'm going to live here?"
"No, you'll stay here. But you can go to where you'll train from this inn."
That got a nod and a grin from Ranma. "I like that. Pop always said that a good soak was the best way ta unwind after trainin'."
"Did he? Well, enjoy yourself as much as you like. I will be right here to handle any need you may have."
"Ya will? That could be... bad. Ya don't rust, d'ya?"
"No, of course not. I was designed with the baths in mind, and so I'm like that watch of yours. Waterproof," she told him.
"Oh. Then it won't rust either?"
"Not at all."
"That's good ta hear."
The hostess robot cocked her head to the side and gave him a reassuring look. "Do not worry. We have protection out there to watch for any problems coming this way."
"Ya mean that 'Samus' guy, right? The one in the orange and red armor?"
For a long moment, the hostess wondered what Samus would say about being called a 'guy', but settled for merely giggling quietly. "Something like that."
"Ah, good. It'll be nice ta take it easy tonight," Ranma sighed happily, and leaned back against the side of the pool, while:
