Naruto Uzumaki was running down the streets of Konoha for his life. The little 9 year old boy didn’t know what had caused these few drunks to become so angry at him that they were yelling death threats to him. All his life Naruto had been ignored or given hated looks by the civilians of Konoha. While most of the ninja’s didn’t act mean towards him, they also didn’t help him most of the time except for a few. But that didn’t matter to Naruto because he knew that he would become the Hokage and then they would all respect him.
However much these thoughts of respect and being the Hokage usually lifted up his spirits today had been a bad day for Naruto. First he had woken up to a painful headache. That headache seemed to get worse when he was closer to people. In class the headache got so bad that Iruka had reluctantly sent him to the nurse’s office. The nurse coolly told him to get back to class or leave the academy as she had no time for people with ‘fake illnesses’.
After school was let out, Naruto headed into the woods to see if being away from people would calm his headache down. It took a few minutes but Naruto’s headache got down to a point that he was no longer in great pain but had a dull throbbing in the back of his head. Naruto decided that he wouldn’t let a thing like a headache slow him down so he started to go through the skills he had been learning at the academy in order to get them down better. After all, the future Hokage needed to be able to use his skills to the best of his ability.
This all lead Naruto to his current condition, running away from angry drunks out to kill him. He was still so tired from his workout that he couldn’t just get away from them like he usually did during his pranks and with this headache he couldn’t think clearly of a way to escape. While he was running Naruto never noticed a stray bottle lying on the street. Tripping over the bottle Naruto landed face first onto the hard unforgiving pavement of the street. Turning to look behind him Naruto saw the drunks pull out switch-blade knives while sporting diabolical grins. Just as the ANBU the Hokage had watching Naruto was about to intervene to save the boy it happened.
Wind started to gust around Naruto’s little body and pebbles that were lying on the street started to shake. Naruto started to float a few inches off the ground scarring the drunks into thinking the Fox was loose. Naruto didn’t notice these facts as all he was seeing were the freighted fools in front of him. In the back of his mind Naruto thought he could hear what the fools were thinking. With in angry smile on his face Naruto yelled at the men. “I don’t know what I did to you scum but BEGONE!!!” With that last word uttered Naruto shoved his hand out in font of him. At this motion the drunks were sent flying backwards until they imbedded themselves into the walls of various buildings some twenty feet from where they were standing. After the men were imbedded in the walls Naruto fell to the street unconscious leaving only frightened civilians and a confused ANBU who quickly came and picked the boy up.
