Ino Yamanaka had, although she didn’t like to admit it, an insatiable sense of curiosity. This sense of curiosity had led the young girl to become far more observant than she portrayed herself to be in class or with most of her friends. Over the past year Ino had noticed something about the ‘class clown’ Naruto that intrigued her. The whiskered boy had always interested her due to the controversy he generated among the adults. Most of the citizens seemed to hate him while most of the ninjas seemed to feel sorry for him.
But the controversy Naruto generated was not what had gotten her curiosity into overdrive. Today at the academy they had taijutsu only matches so that the kids could see what they needed to work on. During her time on the bench, she noticed that the style of taijutsu Naruto used have several moves from her family’s style. However some of the other moves he used she didn’t recognize but could see that they were a part of the style he used. This had led her to follow Naruto after school was over instead of Sasuke like she usually did. Thus, after seeing Naruto circle the rocks around him, she had been told to come out of hiding by the boy in question.
It was an uncomfortable time of silence for the both of them. Ino, due to being caught with her hand in the proverbial cookie jar, and for Naruto due to the fact he didn’t want any of the kids at school to know about his bloodline. Finally Naruto decided to break the ice and in a calm voice asked, “Why were you spying on me?” At this Ino couldn’t keep her curiosity contained any longer and the questions spewed out of her. “Why do you use a style similar to the Yamanaka family style? What were you doing just a moment ago? HOW were you doing it?”
Naruto, figuring out her motivation from the look on her face and her questions, decided to help sate her curiosity knowing it would lead to just more questions latter. “Ino, I use the Red-Tailed Hawk style. The style was created at the same time alongside your Osprey style. I got the scrolls for it from your father during one of his lessons with me. As for how I was doing what I did a few minutes ago and why your father is teaching me well-” at this point Naruto decided to freak her out and telepathically sent out the rest of the sentence. ((He was helping me train my bloodline.))
Ino was starting to freak out now. She could have sworn she heard Naruto’s voice in her head telling her that he had a bloodline but his lips weren’t moving! Naruto started to smile before he continued. ((No Ino, you’re not going mad. It’s really me talking to you in your head. As you can see, you are ‘hearing’ my voice but my lips aren’t moving. My bloodline, the Psyker, grants me telepathic and telekinetic abilities. What you saw was me practicing my telekinetic abilities. Not exactly what you expected to find is it? They say curiosity killed the cat, but it must just startle the pig.))
