“Myuh?” The surprisingly thick-shelled Keitaro Urashima was still attempting to process his transformation into a hot springs turtle.
“Myah!” Naru Narusegawa had fully grasped her own chelonification, and was not happy about it. Still, even with the mental processes of a harem anime female lead, she could not find a reasonable way to pin this one on the protagonist, a.k.a. Keitaro.
“Myuh…” Mutsumi Otohime was far less concerned about her transformation. She just lounged in the hot spring, mist collecting on her watermelon-patterned shell.
“MYAH” Kaolla Su was rather pleased. She was now the most advanced Mecha-Tama in existence! Plus, she’d checked out her weapons grid. Some very nice options there…
Meanwhile, three humanoids wee in the main lounge of the building., discussing the situation. A girl who appeared no older than eleven with light green hair, garbed in a green hooded sweatshirt and khaki shorts, summed up the situation. “This is definitely not good.”
“Agreed.” This came from a seemingly seven-year old blonde, her hair in disarray, her attire a silk blouse and yellow skirt. In her lap she held a disgruntled black-feathered bird. “There is no telling for how far this change has gone, nor how it was accomplished.”
“In any case, we have to keep an eye on everyone, make sure nothing happens to them while they can’t protect themselves.” This comment appeared to come from Kanako, unlikely as she was currently a rather floppy-eared cat. Eerily, Kuro looked almost exactly like her mistress once anthropomorphized, and apparently shared her talent of ventriloquism.
“Right,” said Tama-chan. “We don’t want Kitsune accidentally drinking herself to death or something."
“Hey, Phobos?”
“Yeah, Deimos?”
“We should probably go find Rei’s closet before her grandfather sees us.”
“Don’t you think he got changed too?”
“You willing to take that risk?”
“…To the closet, then.”
