"You are in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture," Penn-Penn continued. "The time period is just after when Second Impact would have occurred in your own world, but this world is fortunately free of such events. You should be able to live out your normal lifespans in this world."
"Why Nishinomiya?" Asuka asked. "Why not put us in Old Tokyo?"
The penguin-turned-Planeswalker replied, "Well, it's easier to drop you in and let you adjust away from a big city, especially given the time travel issue and the differences in the last decade or so of history. More importantly, however, is that there are some people in this town whom I think it will be good for you to associate with, both for your sake and for theirs. I will set you up with records and an apartment and enough money in the bank to last you until high school graduation if you are prudent with it.
Shinji interrupted, "So you're not staying with us?"
"Regrettably, no," said the penguin. "I have made it my self-appointed mission to help as many of your analogues as I possibly can. However, I do have a little advice for you before I depart.
