Her problem at that moment was that she wasn't exactly trying to go either way at the moment.
"You want me...." she trailed off, gesturing between the two of them. "To go and visit you?"
"Your presence at the house will be most welcome."
"I see...."
"Will you come?"
For a long moment, Makoto considered what he was saying, but she couldn't help but feel a bit... bothered by what he was asking. Here she had a rather cute guy, and his main concern about seeing her later seemed to have something to do with working on training in the Art. Now, she had always considered Genma to be something of a nitwit on that sort of thing, but this was a new one on her. Having an offer to spend time with that sweet kid she'd met earlier, and the fact that her cooking was appreciated, made it easier. About that all that she had going for her was the fact that she was the one in control at the moment.
And the fact was that she figured that, if nothing else, visiting a new friend's house was simple, and welcomed, enough. "Well... sure. Why not?"
"Then you will visit the house?" Ranma asked.
"Why not? At the very least, I can get some time in for a visit."
"Undertood."
"Anything else?"
"No, not for the moment," Ranma told her, keeping himself from nodding in satisfaction. He'd apparently managed to convey his desire to spend more time with her, which he counted as a minor victory. But it would give him the time to work his plan on her, which would allow him to move on to the next step that someone in his position would have.
Not that Makoto was entirely against the idea of visiting him at his home. Sure, she did like Hotaru, and the thought of someone enjoying her cooking was certainly always welcome. Still, in this way, she could certainly see about what she should consider what to make of the odd, yet cute boy. Her only other real problem was that she was going to have to work out what she exactly wanted from him, while:
