It made his situation all the more... odd to deal with though, as he was trying to figure out exactly what he was supposed to do.
Not that it looked to be all that bothersome at the moment. Many guys would have killed to be in his position, standing on a beach, where girls in skimpy one piece bathingsuits were as alluring as the ones that were bouncing in more than one way in two. They all seemed to like him as well, since he wasn't exactly being attacked for watching as they romped in the sea with water soaking their swimsuits and running over their supple curves, or were lounging on beach towels as they tanned under the sunny skies.
With a sigh, he wondered how he could advance any more. Near as he could tell, this was some sort of game, but he wasn't looking to win it. Rather, he wanted to find some way out, but was stuck trying to get through the game to see if advancing would give him at least a hint as to how he could succeed. As it was, all that he was getting was the fact that he could call up some book by simply saying the word, and had already gained some items. Of course, some of the items weren't exactly... comfortable to be carrying around, even in the strange 'card' form that they took. No matter how he tried to explain it away, having a vibrator that could have its controls strapped to a girl's thigh was not normal. And he sure as hell didn't want to remember what it had taken to get the whip from that woman who'd been clad all in leather, and laughed rather creepily when she'd done something kinky.
At least he was making progress. He'd gotten some trust from the locals, who seemed to be almost entirely made up of females, and that was an accomplishment in and of itself. Heck, there was one fighter girl who had been pretty hostile to him before, and now she was rather accepting of his suggestions. She was there, as well as the maid, the farm girl, and the odd little fairy who kept on leading him around, among others.
Still, he wasn't particularly sure as to how bright it was for them to be partying so soon after clearing the beach of those tentacle beasts.
At one time, Tellu had been thinking that it would do her 'career prospects' good to 'take care' of Mimette rather permanently. The idea had been rather simple. All that she would have to do was wait until the show business freak was too caught up in using some device or another, and then she'd strike. Had she been able to, she would have simply pulled the plug on her rival and fellow Witch as soon as she tried to do something like digitize herself.
Given that Mimette had managed to get herself taken out of the picture on her own, that made things so much easier.
That left the green haired witch free to take care of her own business. Instead of wasting precious energy on removing the loser from her path, she could work on her plans. Eudial had her machines, and Mimette had her... whatever, but Tellu had been working with plants.
Much could be done with plantlife, as it came in so many wonderful varieties. Making simple use of the properties of certain plants would allow her to create something that would be able to do her work, and she could grow as many of them as she'd need to. The best part of it was that it was entirely possible that no one would even realize that they were a danger until it was too late.
Aware of the abilities of her chosen 'mediums', she'd worked hard until she created her 'perfect' plant, which would:
