She slid to the floor, vaguely aware of her surroundings as the numbness spread over her. "What about our deal..."
"I don't deal with your kind," said her captor. "Don't worry. You're too old and too unattractive for brothel duty. The Mines don't care what you look like though."
Xiang exchanged a look with Bing and Bang. They'd known better than to trust Spider and had prepared a little surprise on seeing a list of prisoners here for retraining.
Bing twisted as if stretching, clicking on a transmitter.
"(It's major kapowie time!)" came a voice speaking in Farghul.
"(Lock and load!)" agreed another voice in the same language.
"Oh my, how exciting!" added a third voice.
"What are you..." the Captain had no chance to ask further as suddenly the fur went flying as two more Farghul crashed the party.
"Time to get Red and blow this joint," said Xiang. "We don't have much time, they'll be after our transport soon."
"(What about her?)" asked Bing, pointing to the unconscious Spider.
"Leave her," said Xiang. "The itsy bitsy Spider went a bit too far this time."
