Ripple effect. Due to alterations in timeline and choosing mergers with side-universes to accomplish main objectives, magic is not restricted to cursed objects and places.
Ranma considered that. So instead of magic just existing to screw up people's lives, there were people who made the magic work for them? So Kodachi is into magic? THAT'S a recipe for disaster.
Magical ability is possessed by all families of nobility. The degree and utility of such magic is indicative of the rank. The Kuno family are minor players on that stage.
Ranma blinked. Hey, wait a minute. Wasn't he a 'Lord' in that regard? Ranma frowned as he continued apparently watching out the train's windows. So that means I got some of this magic?

Ranma relaxed slightly, glancing at his two ninja bodyguard in the car with him and glancing up where he strongly suspected Ayane was concealed on top of the train car. As long as he wasn't outdone by Kodachi, that wasn't so bad. So what kinda magic do I got?
