"Oh hohohohoho!" began someone laughing, leaping up to the top of a turnstile to make her appearance more obvious.
Ranma made a face. Kodachi. Except she was wearing a black leather bikini decorated with little plastic skulls and a billowing cape. He hadn't gotten a good look before, but now it was obvious.
"You there, peasant!" said Kodachi, pointing directly at Ranma. "You are Ranma Saotome, are you not?"
The bell dinged and the assembled group entered the train with a few other guys who had likewise been waiting.
"What do you want to do about this?" asked Hayate as he followed his lord to a position near the front of the car.
"Wave bye bye to the looney," said Ranma, wiggling his fingers at the window.
Kodachi made several gestures that looked very theatrical. Ranma pointed to his ear, shook his head and shrugged. Then he waved again as the train began moving.
Hayate and Hayabusa looked at each other, shrugged, and then identically waggled fingers in a bye-bye gesture.
Ranma's eyes widened as Kodachi made other gestures, but this time the gestures left glowing trails in midair?!
"Sorceress?" questioned Hayabusa just before a security guard clotheslined the leather-bikini wearer.
As the train pulled away from the station, Ranma got a last good look of LOTS of people in blue SecForce uniforms dogpiling on where Kodachi had gone down. "Sorceress?"
"Someone with some access to spellcasting ability," said Hayabusa. "Those day-glo plastic skulls though. Probably not very dedicated to her Art."
"That laugh was pure evil," said Hayate.
"I'm surprised Ayane didn't get her," said Hayabusa.
"Probably didn't want to get on the station's security's bad side," said Hayate.
Ranma was puzzled. Spellcasting was common enough that his ninja took it in stride?
