Besides, he had already gotten things to the point where girls were so hormonal that they had to have segregated train cars to prevent the less... controlled of them from assaulting defenseless boys.
So he turned his attention to the ride, and recognized that even if the world around him had gone strange, he was still the same. Sure, he might have become a ninja lord, or something along those lines, but he still had the same mindset that he'd had earlier. He sure as hell didn't understand girls, and knew that they tended to have a need to come after him in all sorts of ways. It was at the point where he expected something to come popping out at him, just so that he could have something else on top of whatever he already had to deal with.
That was when he recognized what that nagging sensation was, and knew that he didn't have to look up to know what was going on. "Ayane? Are ya just gonna cling ta the station until we get ta the next station?"
The minute sound of cloth moving came in to the audible range for a few seconds before a human shape eased gracefully to the floor of the car.
"Guess he noticed her," Ryu murmured.
"And she's actually pretty good at stealth," Hayate agreed, shrugging slightly. "But then what would you expect from our Lord?"
Ayane ignored the wary looks that some of the male passengers gave her and nodded slightly. "I'm pleased that he's taking the time to acknowledge me."
"Of course, that does mean that you got spotted."
"I need to work on that. I know."
Sighing, Ranma wondered about what else could happen, and tried to not actually think of anything. For all that he knew, coming up with some idea of a problem could wind up tempting fate, and he sure as hell didn't want to do that. Of course, since he had the Great Will, not paying attention could result in his fleeting daydreams coming true.
Rubbing his temple, he gazed out at the passing scenery and not at the shapely young woman who happened to be a cute girl looking to hang around him, while:
