"Ah, we're going to be late!" Before he could give her his name, Moka took a hold of his arm and started dragging him deeper into the forest towards the school. For someone her size, she sure pulled pretty hard.
But then again, she's a vampire so having strength like that is to be expected.
"You still need to get set up in your dorm, right?"
Her sweet voice snapped him out of his musings. "Uh... yeah. I'm in Building B, Second Floor, Room Two."
"In that case, I can meet you after school and we can get to know each other a bit more!"
'It hasn't even been a day and already a cute girl is asking to see my room?' He wondered what other crazy things he will encounter at this school.
He found that his homeroom class, Class 1-3, looked like a rather strange group of oddballs. For instance, that blue-haired girl in the back? What type of teenager had a bust that size?
Actually, he did recall some other girl he had seen with a similar bust size back at home. But he couldn't quite remember who she was.
And his teacher... the way she moved around reminded him of a housecat. She was dressed in normal office attire with light brown hair and glasses. "Everyone get settled! Welcome to Youkai Academy! I'm your teacher Shizuka Nekonome! I think you all know this already but... this is a school built for the sake of Monsters to attend!"
'Wait a second. MONSTERS?!'
She continued to give the administrative lecture. "Our current problem is that the Earth is under the control of the humans! In order for us Monsters to continue to survive, we have to peacefully coexist with the humans. At this school, you will learn exactly what to do to peacefully coexist with humans!"
'She's kidding, right? She has to be!' It was a testament to our male protagonist's self control that he didn't screech out loud in surprise yet.
"As a school rule, you will live your lives at this Academy in human form! Do you understand? It's a matter of being able to pass off as a human to others! This is the foundation of coexistence! You are not to let anyone else know your 'true form'! Understand?!"
"Yes, Nekonome-sensei," droned all of the students, save for the sole human male in the school.
A rather large male student then spoke up. "Sensei, wouldn't it be easier just to devour those puny humans? Come to think of it, I smell a human scent..."
"There will be no devouring here, Mister! Everyone here, student and teacher, is a Monster. This school was built in a secret dimension separate from the human world. If a human ever got through and knows of our school, we have no choice but to kill them according to school policy. Now for attendance..."
'I can't stay here. I've got to get out... but how?!' As he continued to think up of escape plans, he heard the teacher call out his name:
