Your mouth has always gotten you into trouble. That much hasn't changed. There was a sense that the universe heaved a great big sigh. Even before any changes, you did have trouble in choosing your words.
Well, yeah.... That's true. Coulda avoided a lot of trouble if people understood what I meant.

In this world, there has been an importance placed on words, specifically on what is said, and how.
Which means....
Men need to tell people what they mean and what they want to do, since they aren't as... forward as they used to be. Women can't be sure that their presence will be accepted until the guy in question lets her know that he wants her there. And in your case that is especially true, due to the fact that your words are orders, promises, and directives of honor. Had the universe had shoulders, one might have expected a shrug from them.
I'm so screwed.
Essentially... yes. Watching your words is important for anyone in a position of authority. But in your case, you have been rather free with them, which basically has resulted in what would be basically be called 'oaths' by most. In fact, this isn't the first time that you have gotten into a mess like this, and that's just including those having to deal with girls.
So that last time was what that 'again' meant.

This sort of thing seems to be a recurring theme with you. It's been repeated several times.
