Kasumi seemed to be watching Ranma frequently, refilling his plate as soon as he'd emptied it. Ranma had actually had to REFUSE a fifth helping?! Kasumi still looked a little feverish, and wasn't feeling well apparently.
Whatever it was - it was apparently contagious. Nabiki also looked a little feverish or something. She was uncharacteristically quiet too. Akane decided to grab the little bottle of Vitamin C later and get an extra couple of the vitamins. She didn't want to catch whatever it was.
The dinner was off somehow, even beyond two of her sisters having colds or something.
Father and Mister Saotome were BOTH plotting something stupid. Akane glimpsed a catalog being passed between the two and had read enough to just KNOW this would not turn out at all well.

P-chan wandered in at one point, likewise looking like he'd caught a cold or something. Poor baby was weaving around as if he'd gotten into her father's sake or something.
As for Ranma, he'd seemed odd too. He had looked puzzled by Kasumi's actions, smirked at Nabiki, and he'd continued that silly game he played with his father over stealing food as usual. He'd been distracted by something though and he'd smirked at P-chan too! Probably planning to do something to the poor baby.
"Oh, Ranma, I seem to be a little stiff tonight," said Kasumi, "do you think you can massage my shoulder a bit more tonight before bed?"
"No problem," said Ranma.
Akane frowned. Was that it? Was that why Kasumi kept looking at Ranma like that? That must be it. Well, admittedly he DID do good massages. All that martial arts training was good for that sort of thing with all the muscle sprains and strains that developed.
