Kasumi tried to keep calm as she worked at cutting the ingredients for dinner. Her conversation with Akane and Nabiki had been somewhat less productive than she had hoped for.
Nabiki was absolutely convinced that things were happening as they were supposed to be happening. Akane thought there was something going on that they weren't aware of, but she wasn't sure what.
As it was, the only thing they all agreed on, Kasumi only hesitantly at the moment, was that they were all attracted to Ranma, and Kasumi couldn't deny that.
Kasumi had always been somewhat empathic, even now she suspected that Nabiki's assertion of that this was what was supposed to happen was her over-depending on newly evolving senses.
Kasumi had always felt Ranma was something like a magnet for attention, but recently it was like someone had put a charge through her and Ranma both. As long as other people were around, there was interference enough that she could hold off, but she knew that if she were alone with Ranma at some point, then she'd probably take any little excuse to be with him, and she expected he'd be in the same situation.
Which made her think, if she had known that so strongly, why had she let Ranma and Akane go back home alone?
Now Akane was changing too, Kasumi could tell.
That left a problem, people were going to start asking questions. If the fathers learned what was up, they'd insist on a marriage, and Kasumi wasn't sure Akane or Nabiki would agree with it until they knew who all was supposed to be with Ranma.
If Nodoka knew...well, Nodoka might approve, actually.
Kasumi sighed and wished she could just give in to the pull. With Dr. Tofu gone, there wasn't anyone for her...except for Ranma.
Kasumi bit her lip and exhaled.
Never had she had so much trouble on deciding whether or not to do something she wanted to do.
