Though he did have to wonder about what others were thinking when they picked certain jobs. "Do you actually think that's for you?"
"But of course!" Minsc declared, and pumped one fist. "Minsc is a defender of good!"
"And that means that you're going to be heading out for that job?"
"This is something that must be done. Nice people are being hurt, and Minsc and Boo will stand there to defend them."
"Which means...." Ash trailed off.
"We will hunt bandits on Valles Marineris. They are bad and will be taught to not steal from hard working people."
"Guess that's good."
"That is the point. Minsc will be buttkicking for goodness. Will you join in the cause?"
There was a moment where Ash was about to refuse, but as he thought about it, the concept did make sense. After all, he did have his knowledge about what he'd done as 'Ranma Saotome', and was pretty certain that he could retrain himself. On top of that was the added bonus that he had some pokegirls who were fighters, and that could certainly help him a lot.
He just had to wonder if he was ready for that sort of situation. As it was, Akane was running wild, and even if half of his 'team' could fight, the other half wasn't about to be able to combat a determined preschool class. Honestly, they needed time to train, and he had to wonder if they could manage that in the time frame that they had available if they took the job.
