Usagi thought long and hard about the choices that Shingo was offering her. It might have seemed strange to Usagi that it was her little brother forcing her to make this choice except for the fact that sanity seemed to have left the building a long time ago. After letting out a small sigh Usagi calmly said, “Okay brother I accept. When do we start my lessons?” Normally Usagi would have referred to her brother as squirt, but that address just seemed inappropriate to her for this strange situation.
Shingo then nodded his head and he said, “We’ll start right now. You should know that there are four main branches of magic in existence. These branches are Magic powered by the spirit and life, White Magic which uses divine power, Black Magic which is powered by a contract with a devil, and finally Death Magic which uses the spirits of the four elements. If you want Sis you can think of Death Magic as a sort of elemental magic. I, due to being Dark Schneider’s reincarnation, specialize in Black Magic and Death Magic.”
Upon hearing Shingo admit to the types of magic he used Luna became more and more afraid. How could a Sailor Senshi, the very epitome of truth and love, even contemplate studying under such a person? Why the very thought was an abomination! Usagi better reject that offer her, her, ugh, brother was offering right this moment. If the Usagi didn’t, who knows what the Moon Princess would do to the naïve girl.
Much to Luna’s horror, Usagi was seriously thinking about what her brother had just told her about magic. She then said, “Uh Shingo? How would my powers as Sailor Moon be classified? Also, what kinds of magic can I hope to learn from you?”
Shingo then closed his eyes which made Usagi think that he was thinking about what she had asked him. Actually Usagi was only sort of correct because Shingo was busy consulting with Dark Schneider about her questions. When he opened his eyes again Shingo said, “Your powers as Sailor Moon seem to fall under the first category of magic that I mentioned. Now please be aware that I could be wrong, but that is extremely unlikely. I can teach you a little of all four types of magic, but you will need to find someone else to help you if you want to learn anything above medium level spells in White Magic and about high level spells in the first type. Black Magic and Death Magic on the other hand I can teach you till you become a grandmaster in them.”
Usagi then calmly said, “That sounds reasonable. How about we start my lessons after you and I get back from school?” Shingo quickly agreed to that and the two siblings went down to eat leaving Laras and a catatonic Luna alone in the room.
