"NO!" exclaimed Ranma. "No. No how. No way. Not on a bet. No No No No NO! No! Uh uh. No. Never. NO NO NO."
"Okayyyyyy," said Mihoshi, this hint being sufficiently hammered in that she got it.
"No nonononononono NO!" said Ranma with many flourishes and gestures. "NO!"
"Got ya," said Mihoshi, making sure that the file on Cologne was closed.
Ranma sighed in relief. He had enough girl troubles without any of these other gals showing up.
"So you were saying what you wished was?" asked Mihoshi.
"That..." Ranma stopped at a feeling of danger, then plunged ahead. "I wish-"
"Wait a minute," interrupted Mihoshi as she rapidly was being hidden from view with emergence of yet more pop-up screens.
"What?" asked Ranma.
"How come your life and background are labelled 'Epic Martial Arts Hero' but I don't see any heroics?" asked Mihoshi.
"Well, I... I am kinda 'epic' ain't I?" asked Ranma, not one to turn down compliments on his mad martial arts skillz.
"Yeah, I don't see... do you have a secret identity or something?" asked Mihoshi.
"Secret Identity?" asked Ranma. He thought about it briefly. "Not that I know of, so if I do - it's a secret to me too. Could be handy though, getting away from everything occasionally to go off and do something different."
"Yeah, I could see that, I just can't see it listed," said Mihoshi. "I've seen movies and such, and there were TV series dealing with that sort of thing. The TV at Tenchi's house had series like 'X-Com:UFO Hunter' and 'Gatekeepers' and those 'James Bond' movies. When I was out on patrol I'd watch series like 'Jurai Detective Janis' or 'Shadow Knight' or 'Kamen Rider XS.'"
"I've seen some Kamen Rider," said Ranma. "I think I watched a James Bond movie. Huh. Yeah, it would be nice if I could duck away from here for awhile and go do something 'epic' I suppose. Maybe kick bad guy butts, learn special super-secret martial arts, hide out from tomboys making toxic waste, stuff like that. I kinda wish I had an 'out' like that."
"Granted," said a distracted Mihoshi.
"What?" said Ranma as the universe seemed to stop, jump at a ninety degree angle, and restart.
