Minazuki ducked a little bit, but not out of any fear of her 'big brother'. Rather, she was a bit embarrassed that she'd brought such news to the dinner table, but she didn't know where else to let it be known. She was always welcome to eat with him and the mothers, and that was the only time that she knew they would all be there.
"Sorry, Chitose...." she began.
"Stop it, you're scaring her," Mutsuki admonished, patting the redhead on the shoulder.
"I'm not trying to... oh, right. Didn't mean to do that," he admitted, slumping down into his seat.
"I understand, but yelling won't help anything."
"I know, but if he's going to be poking around in my life...."
Satsuki leaned forward and sighed. "This really could be a problem, especially if he's persistant."
"Oh, I don't think that he knows anything. It's just that he... well... is interested in setting up Chitose," Minazuki put in.
"Did he?"
"Seemed that way to me."
"Oh great. That could wind up being even worse," the physical education teacher muttered.
"I'm glad that you can see it," Uzuki chirped.
"I was just thinking of what this official poking his nose into our family might do to us."
"And I'm impressed about that."
"You are?"

"But what do we do?" Mutsuki asked. "That could be a disaster...."

All of the others shook their heads and waved their hands in united rejection of that idea.
"Why do we have to do anything though?" Minazuki asked.
"Huh?" her 'big brother' grunted. "But didn't you just warn us about him?"
"Only to let you know to keep an eye out. It's not like he's a bad person."
"If you say so."
"She may be right," Yayoi allowed.
"What d'you mean?"
"If we go and interfere with him now, then he'll certainly be involved in our family business. At best, he'll have a bad impression of us, and at worst...."
"It could be worse than doing nothing," Mutsuki murmured, reaching over to hold Chitose's hand.
"Exactly."
"So, we just sit and wait," Satsuki muttered as she held the blonde in a headlock.
Uzuki snorted and kicked the gym teacher in the shin. "There's a time for acting like a bull, and this isn't it."
"We just have to make sure to keep our guard up, then."
"There's no way that I'd let things fall apart now," Chitose growled, lacing his fingers with those of the woman that he loved, while:
