[Episode 208875]Setsuna gazed down at the amber liquid as she slowly swirled it around as if hoping to divine an answer.
The fine single malt scotch unfortunately couldn't answer the Senshi of Time's question.
With a light sigh Setsuna irritably flicked the strand of long green hair that had fallen across her face backwards. Then raising the crystal tumbler upwards Setsuna took a long slow sip, the scotch effortlessly moving past her crimson lips.
"I'll take another," Setsuna ordered from the bartender in a tired monotone after she placed the now empty tumbler back on the darkly stained wood counter.
With quick efficient movements another tumbler of fine scotch was placed in front of Setsuna and she resumed her questioning of the liquor for answer.
Perhaps this time it would give her the answer she wanted to hear.
"Agent Meiou?" Dr. Kumori Mizuno asked politely as she joined Setsuna at the bar. "You asked to see me."
"Yes," Setsuna replied in a bland manner. Gaining entrance into SERA's ranks had been relatively easy for the Senshi of Time, a few simple meetings and the appropriate paperwork, it made looking after her girls easier. "About Ranma."
Kumori pursed her lips at that. For all that black or devil-Ranma scared her deeply, she cared deeply for the now silvery-blue haired boy that had charmed his way into her heart. He was practically her son, and she couldn't count the number of times she had to head off foolish ideas by scientists and politicians who didn't see Ranma as a little boy instead of a test subject.
Leading Kumori to a more secluded booth, Setsuna slipped out a small device that hadn't seen use for well over ten thousand years. Activated with a simple tap an interference field was set up blocking out the vast majority of methods for overhearing their conversation. Saturn's security agencies had always been clever like that.
"How's Hotaru," Kumori asked first as she settled into the booth.
This brought a brief but genuine smile to Setsuna's lips. Raising the Senshi of Silence was a challenge but one Setsuna relished, her daughter, Setsuna thought with pride was a sweet little girl.
"Currently causing her Sensei's grief at the Tai Chi Dojo near our place," Setsuna answered.
With Ranma as Hotaru's "big brother" it wasn't a surprise she had decided to learn martial arts. In fact Hotaru was taking to it like a duck to water, although it was the naginata that the five year old Hotaru excelled in thus far.
"But of course," Kumori replied with her own grin. Almost all of the girls in Ranma's "pack" as it were had picked up a fraction of Ranma's obsession with martial arts. Including Ami, though in her case it was mostly Aikido and Jujutsu, on top of her swimming.
That grin faded as Kumori recalled the bland almost depressed manner in which Setsuna had greeted her and introduced the subject of Ranma.
Silence filled the table as Setsuna stared down at the tumbler of scotch once more. Then after roughly a minute of silence she downed the rest of the amber liquid in one go and grimaced.
"With both Ranma's parents dead or missing," Setsuna explained. "You're the next best thing. I want, no need to explain my actions to you."
Kumori nodded at that, a chill filling her body as her instincts screamed that this wasn't going to be a pleasant conversation.
"Ranma's possessed or merged with a very powerful and aggressive spiritual entity," Setsuna stated. "Which in and of itself is not exactly the best thing for Ranma's long term health both physical and spiritual. Unfortunately Ranma has an additional problem."
"Nock," Kumori said with a shudder. That creature still haunted her nightmares.
Setsuna nodded and she stated dryly. "Quite. Ranma's survival period, not just as a human being instead of Black or Devil Ranma, is at risk with his current growth in skill and power."
"But what do you suggest to do about it," Kumori asked.
"Get Ranma trained intensively by the one person who can make Ranma strong enough in time," Setsuna answered. "The Grandmaster of his family Art, Happosai."
Kumori blinked and wondered why this Happosai was just so bad. Ranma being trained by the Grandmaster of his family Art seemed like a good thing. It would not only give him a connection to his deceased parents, but apparently would also give Ranma the best chance at surviving the coming storm.
"Second year of university classes, spring term, just before finals," Setsuna stated. "You and almost all the rest of the females got groped and your underwear stolen."
Kumori twitched at that. She still remembered the gropes and chases that followed as she and her fellow students tried to put down an evil little troll.
"The evening out you had on your wedding anniversary one year after Ami was born," Setsuna added. "You were wearing something special that evening, but not for long."
Kumori's left eyebrow twitched at steady 60 beats. It had taken her forever to find the perfect garments to go with that dress, she still missed that silk bustier and thong, when some pervert had stolen it right off her along with all the food on their table.
Setsuna sighed heavily and gave a mournful look at her empty tumbler.
"Even though Happosai is an immoral perverted thief, he's one of the absolute best martial artists in existence," Setsuna concluded glumly. "None of the other Masters have the time or desire to focus exclusively on one student. Under Happosai's tutelage Ranma has the best possible chance of not only remaining mostly human, but actually surviving and thriving in what's to come."
.oOo. .oOo. .oOo. .oOo. .oOo.
"Yes, yes, yes," a female voice cried out in ecstasy. "Oooh there, I'm almost there. Just a bit moooreeeeee!"
A cry of pleasure was torn from the red-haired womans lips as she cupped and caressed her breasts with her left hand and held a man's head to her heavenly gates with a firm grip on his hair.
Panting slowly as the high of her orgasm slowly faded, the red haired and eyed woman smiled slightly and cooed out. "Oh my Soun it seems Kimiko has done a good job in refining your skills. Even Genma didn't quite have that masterful touch."
Soun Tendo mumbled a reply from between Nodoka's legs.
Kimiko on the other hand clad with nothing but a happy smile replied, "Of course Mistress, Soun took to my teachings like a man inspired."
"Indeed," Nodoka stated happily as she relaxed her grip on Soun's hair. "For which I shall have to thank you appropriately."
Kimiko blushed lightly and bowed her head slightly, "Your thanks shall be joyfully received."
"But first," Nodoka said tapping her lips with her now free index finger. "We need to review this quarters results. Business before pleasure of course."
"Of course Magus Nodoka," Kimiko practically purred out.
Even though the Governments deal with the Kappa's and other Youkai had slowed their operations down significantly, the Death Busters work was still going ahead. This quarters eight Pure Heart Crystals, sadly lacking the talismans, were more than enough for the Tendo's to be richly rewarded.
