In the back of Shingo’s mind Schneider said, ((So brat, where’s our hot bride going to stay for the night? You really should reconsider my idea of using Monster’s Loose you know. After all, we wouldn’t want to disappoint the gal tonight eh? I wonder if she’s a screamer or a moaner.))
Naturally, Shingo tried his best to ignore Schneider’s comments although his cheeks did turn slightly pink. Still, Schneider did bring up a good point that needed to be answered. In a polite manner Shingo said, “Ah Dad? Where is Selene going to stay?”
Selene then looked at her future father-in-law and said, “If it is not too much trouble for you Mr. Tsukino, may I please stay here? That way I can get to know Shingo better and your family can get use to the idea of our engagement? If you want me to I will leave and look for accommodations elsewhere.”
Kenji carefully considered Selene’s request and was surprised that it hadn’t come up earlier in their discussion. Finally he made up his mind and said, “For tonight I think it would be okay if you got the couch or, if Usagi is willing, sharing Usagi’s room. Tomorrow Shingo and I will clear out all of the junk in what was supposed to be the fourth bedroom and you can have that room. I hope this meets with your approval Lady Selene.”
With a polite bow Selene said, “That is perfectly alright for me Mr. Tsukino. And please call me Selene; I never liked the idea of family or future family referring to each other by titles.” Kenji and Shingo then watched as Selene was surrounded by a bright light. When the light stopped shining around Selene her body looked like it was the body of 16 year old. In a friendly tone Selene said, “I hope you don’t mind this change. I figured that having a 16 year old engaged to an 11 year old would be more socially acceptable then say a 24 year old being engaged to an 11 year old.”
The Tsukino patriarch nodded his head and said, “I understand Selene and please, drop the Mr. Tsukino. Just call me Uncle Kenji. Now how about we go back to the other room and tell everyone else about what is going on.”
