"This is wonderful!" Soun said, entering the crowding office. "I had expected the Tendos to receive half of the Kuno wealth, but it seems that it'll be two-thirds!"
"No, it's the Saotomes that will get the lion's share," Genma beamed. "After Akane marries Ranma."
"As a wealthy lady, my daughter doesn't have to marry a Saotome, if she doesn't want to.
"Dad!" Akane cried.
"Pop!" Ranma cried. "What're you guys doin' here?"
"And now?" Nabiki arched a brow.
"We heard the good fortune on the news!" Genma said. "So we had to rush over!"
"The office directed us here," Soun said. "And we were just in time to hear about the divide of the pie!"
"Whoa-ho!" the lawyer interrupted glad feelings. "There will be no dividing of the Kuno properties. The will makes that quite clear. Everything is to remain intact. Something about "the fruit of centuries of pillaging and Machiavellian deal-making". It is the first person to meet all of the conditions of the will that will inherit it all."
"Hello, Everyone. I'm sorry I'm late for the party. I had a hard time getting up here."
"And who is this lovely young woman?" Bubu asked.
"Kasumi Tendo," Nabiki said coolly, "age 19, but of legal age in merely a few weeks."
