[Episode 214439] [Episode 214439]A three year old Naruto, who had his mother's distinctive eyes and almost pure white hair, was running through the Namikaze compound with a pair of shuriken in his hands that he had swiped from Kakashi earlier today. There was big old grin on Naruto's face as he headed out to the practice range that had been built in the back yard. Finally, he'd be able to start learning some real ninja skills. All that bookwork that momma made him do was just so boring!
Just as Naruto thought he was home free, a blue AT field suddenly appeared in the doorway. Rei then quickly appeared with her hands on her hips. In her usual manner, Rei said with a disappointed look in her eye, "Naruto, how many times have I told you that you are not begin physical training until you are four? I thought and believed that you were big enough to understand that I set these limitations for a reason."
The typical three year old wouldn't be able to follow half of the words that Rei was using. However, Naruto was far from being the typical three year old. Thanks to his angelic blood, Naruto could comprehend anything he heard. Those who were in the dark about Rei and Naruto's heritage simply assumed that it was a side effect of the S2 bloodline.
Naruto was unable to take his mother's disappointed look and he quickly dropped the shuriken. He then did his famous, or infamous if you were his babysitter, pout and said, "It's no fair momma. I want to train to be a great ninja like poppa was. How can I do that if I'm just reading books all day? It's not like I could get any serious injuries with my bloodline."
Rei scooped Naruto up and held him close. She looked into his eyes and softly said, "Your S2 organ is still very young Naruto and it can't handle taking care of your body like my S2 organ can handle taking care of my body. It will mature enough by your fourth birthday so that you can start physical training. Besides, most ninjas, even clan heirs, don't start training until they are five."
Naruto nodded his head accepting what Rei had told him. He then gave his momma a big hug and said, "Can you tell me a story momma?"
Rei gave Naruto a little kiss on the forehead and replied, "Always Naruto. How would you like to hear the tale of Shinji the Third Knight?" Once Naruto stopped doing a bobble head doll impression Rei began. "There once was a young boy who was called by his father one day to come..."
