Kaede looked over the group, noting each, and that at least a few looked like formidable fighters.
The class was apparently fairly rowdy. A girl named Asuna was fond of getting into verbal (and to some extent physical) disputes with the class rep. Said rep being rather more well-to-do than one would expect of a place like Furinkan.
The vast majority looked less like fighters. Considerably less in some cases.
That there was more going on here than met even her eye was apparent.
Genma flipped up through the branches of a tree rather more easily than one would expect from someone of his bulk. When he finally came to a halt atop one branch, it was a light contact where the only noise was of the branch creaking under his weight.
From there he was able to observe in more detail the various patrols.
And there were patrols. Groups of individuals wearing armbands that proclaimed them to be 'hall monitors' - often grumbling about having to police the areas.
Which made sense to Genma after he thought about it. Making inmates responsible for policing the area, when they could be held responsible for those duties and punished severely for breaking them, probably freed up staff.
Now that the school was 'locked down' for the day, there was an outer level of professional security that included some fairly sophisticated devices. Not that these would stop him but for the martial artists he'd seen so far - most likely that'd be sufficient.
The patrols were also, apparently, NOT all friendly to each other. Which was a security bollix but one he could take advantage of.
One he could also appreciate as two groups started off with a few muttered comments, proceeded straight through shouted threats, and moved straight on to pull out special manuevers and weapons.
It could be only more perfect if he had a bag of popcorn to munch on as he watched the entertainment. You couldn't have everything though.
Oh, wait one moment. There was a vending machine over there.
Ranma Saotome attended another class. Which was incredibly boring to him as the teacher seemed to want to put everything in relation to the Sengoku era.
However, there were indications that the class had some unusual features in it.
His class, as it would turn out, contained:
