The dropping temperature should have warned the Guide and Genma.
So should Ranma finally noticing his...her current lack of balance, and reduced stature.
So should an ominous, but rather cute, overshadowing of her eyes by her hair.
And the fact that the little girl(?) seemed to be emitting some sort of glow.
Though noticed by the Guide, who seemed to be slowly inching away, this was wholly ignored by Genma, who continued to rant.
Dear readers, we will now translate Genma's insignificant and nonsensical 'growfs' to something that would be more entertaining to read in minute phrases as Ranma prepares to do something, the person in question not yet realizing their body seemed to be running on automatic now.
"-...mother would think of you being unman...-"
There was a brief gust of arctic wind.
"-...contract. She would have a conniption...-"
A some ball of light began gathering in Ranma's right hand, as her face was that of supreme growing annoyance.
"-...then make me lather the Neapolitan...-"
The ball of light began gaining a frosty light blue color.
"-...during the episcopalian...-"
It grew larger. Ranma drew his/her arms back, preparing to throw the light, now the size of a basket ball. The Guide made a run for it.
"Genma..." She muttered.
"-...toast on the butter knife upside down...-"
"No..."
"-...Newton's law of relative mass...-" (AN: I think you should shut...sigh, never mind...)
"BAKA!" Ranma shouted, throwing the icy ball towards the now blathering panda.
"-...during the late 1600's when Spanish settlers...-"
-SCHRAK!!-
Genma's incessant chatter was thankfully cut off as the the ball of the light impacted. There was a burst of bright light, as well as a zephyr of cold wind. When the sudden surge of fog cleared, there, standing in a rather significantly artistic pose, was a rather ugly panda ice sculpture, and a heavily panting young girl in a too-large martial artists clothes.
A few seconds later, the Guide came padding back, stopped to inspect the panda on ice, then said, "It not convey feelings of artist much. Lacks symbolism and has few relevant art styles that catch attention."
Even in his/her rather tired and agitated state, Ranma couldn't help but sweatdrop at that.
