His first volley had benefitted from the element of surprise. Sailor Chibi-Moon, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars had gone down. The fight came to a halt. Even Happosai stopped fondling and groping the senshi to stare at the undead mage. The old pervert couldn't believe it but his ki-senses weren't mistaken. That weapon stole the souls of his victims and the demon he summoned ate them like candy. Sweet Kasumi and the senshi were... dead "How... How dare you kill these innocent girls !?"
The Lich king laughed "You wanted a demon. You got one. I suppose I should thank you. Now I'm free and my powers are back ! Soon the Earth Realm will know the wrath of the LICH KING ! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!"
"You bastard ! Happo-Daikirin !" The perverted old master threw several firebombs at the monster he had summoned. They exploded in a fiery display of pyrotechnics but when the smoke cleared, the Lich King was unharmed "Now that wasn't nice... AURA BEAM !" The attack spell struck Happosai before he could react. The following explosion sent him flying away with a trail of smoke. The undead mage chuckled "Now that this... nuisance is gone, back to business !"
He aimed the weapon again and fired, Sailor Moon was still shell-shocked by the fall of her friends and was standing like a sitting duck. Sailor Jupiter pushed her out of the way and got hit in her place.
Sailor Moon was crying and screamed "NO ! JUPITER !!" The Lich King pointed his weapon at her again...
"WORLD SHAKING !" "DEEP SUBMERGE !" The Lich King was struck by Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune's attacks. The two outer senshi had waited for the perfect opportunity to attack. Unfortunately, the Lich King's aura shield stopped both energy blasts cold. They gulped and scattered to dodge the Lich King's counterattack.
"WHAT DO WE DO NOW !?" asked Neptune.
"KEEP DODGING UNTIL WE FIND A NEW PLAN !" answered Uranus
Venus was shaking Moon to get her out of her funk "Sailor Moon ! Now is not the time to have a nervous breakdown ! We must take back the heart crystals from that monster !"
"She's right, Sailor Moon !" Usagi's eyes went to the Tendo house's roof where Tuxedo Kamen had made his appearance "If you give in to despair, all is lost and your friends will die !"
"AAAAAHHH ! What are you doing to my house !?" Soun Tendo had chosen a bad time to go see what all that noise was about. His heart crystal was torn out of his chest and added to the Lich King's collection. Right behind him, Genma, Nodoka, Nabiki and Akane looked at the devastation and acted.
"Saotome secret technique ! RUN AWAY !" Guess who fled like the stinking coward he is went looking for help to fight against the demon ?
"Kasumi !" Akane saw the still looking Kasumi on the ground and the palor of her skin. Her gaze turned to the Lich King "YOU MONSTER ! DIE !" She launched herself at him, battle aura blazing, sure of her strength and... right into the deathbuster gun's barrel *ZAP !* Akane Tendo's lifeless body collapsed.
Nabiki grabbed Nodoka, who was ready to draw her sword and go fighting, and ran for the back door and out of the Tendo compound *Reinforcements ! Need reinforcements ! Need to find Ranma !*
"This is growing tiresome..." The Lich King was busy trying to shoot down Uranus, Neptune, Venus and Tuxedo Kamen and blocking their pathetic attempts at attacking him. Yet he wasn't stupid, he knew they were trying to distract him from their leader, Sailor Moon, who seemed to be preparing a huge white magic attack.
Then he got an idea. From what he's seen, a person without a heart crystal was a soulless corpse. His eyes flared with unholy energy and the Lich King connected the bodies lying around him to the undead plane "Arise, my servants !"
Ghastly shadows materialized out of nowhere, one for each body on the ground. They possessed the empty vessels instantly. The Lich King's victims' eyes opened and they slowly rose, their eyes empty.
"Seize them !" The zombies obeyed and they grabbed the surviving senshi and Tuxedo Kamen. A few seconds later, the Lich King had five new heart crystals powering his magic and five new servants. He took the magic sword and mirror that came out of Uranus and Neptune, he knew they were magical but nothing more. Oh well, he could always experiment later... He laughed evilly, never had he been so powerful in his whole life (and unlife) ! Nothing could stop him this time !
But first, he should find a way to summon his secretaries to him and then pay a visit to the Deathbusters' headquarters. Yes, he felt their dark magic from here. Soon, he would be ready and revenge would be his !
"Just you wait, Teddy... You and your family will rue the day you sent me to the undead plane for a long, long time..."
