And still, Rock Lee was still uneasy at the moment.
"Are sure that we made the right choice?" the bushy browed boy murmured.
Ranma peered over at him. "What's the matter? Don't ya like walkin'?"
"It is not a problem for someone who has gone through the wonderful training of Guy-sensei. I have... other concerns."
"And what would that be?" Genma grunted, crossing his arms over his chest. "Don't tell me that you still have problems with joining up with us."
"Oh, no, it is not that. You have proven yourselves to be able warriors with a common enemy. But with those criminals back there...."
"You must still be bothered about how we didn't give those guys over personally. After all, we did just leave them there to be found," Might Guy commented."
"There is that as well, but still.... Should we have done that to them?"
TenTen stopped in mid-stride and put let her hands tighten on her weapon as she held it against her shoulder. Her teeth ground together, and her eyes narrowed with anger. Not a sound passed by her lips, but it was clear that she was waiting to say something.
"I mean, we didn't have to place them like that," the boy in green idly commented. "After all, they were captured already...."
"We couldn't be that damned lazy, alright? If we'd been slack on tying them up, it would have given any ninja worth her training an easy chance to get away," the kunoichi ground out.
"Yes, but to go that far...."
"They are ruthless monsters. We can't go easy on them."
"But all because of one girl...."
The smile on TenTen's face as she loomed over a suddenly terrified Rock Lee made her look like she was possessed by a demon. "That tramp should not have looked at my Master like that. She had no right to stare at him, and couldn't be allowed to do something nasty to him. She has to suffer for her crimes!"
"And that means...."
"I could not allow that sort of insult to pass...." she growled, releasing one hand off of her naginata before clenching it into a fist.
"An anonymous tip, you say," drawled an officer as he looked at what the Bureau had found.
The other officer peered up from her clipboard and gave a thin smile. "Came in on the tip line from a public phone. A simple check of it lead to this."
"And this is what we find."
"Someone obviously doesn't like them. You admiring the work?"
"Me?" the first officer scoffed. "Of course not. I've got a daughter that age, you know."
"True. But at least you can be sure that she won't end up like this."
"I'd rather doubt that this one wanted to be like this either."
Kin Tsuchi might have agreed with that concept, if given the chance. Being stripped, gagged, and hogtied wasn't exactly what someone would consider to be the best position to be in. On top of that, she was currently dangling from a tree branch by a single rope, which left her swinging in the breeze like some sort of strange human pinata.
But as the Sound kunoichi was currently unconscious from various blows on the head, she could vocalize any embarrassment or fury over her current situation.
"We're going to cut her down, right?" commented the first officer.
"Certainly," the other officer allowed, giving a small shrug. "Considering now that all the men got a chance to get an eye full."
"Too bad we couldn't just cut the rope to start with."
"Well... would you want to have climbed that high?"
"Kind of doubt it. My days of going up trees are over with," he responded, pulling out a cigarette pack to tap one out. "Too bad for her."
"Which is unfortunate for our little criminal," his partner murmured, adjusting her glasses with one finger as she looked up at where Kin hung helplessly with her surviving companions, while:
