Dropping off the gift was actually remarkably easy. No speeders, illegally parked cars, calls for assistance or horny pedestrians to distract her. That actually made for quite a change from her normal routine, and for once, she didn't mind. With that done, she returned to her duties, patrolling the streets of Tokyo.
This evening was particularly uneventful. Of course, this was likely because she was stuck rolling around the sleepy Nerima ward. There wasn't really much to do. That is unless one counted the sexy proprietor of the Tendo dojo, which she certainly did.
No Ranma! She chided herself as she passed by the dojo. No fantasizing about Soun and his girls until after work! Of course, if they did something that justified her visiting on hours, that would make her day, but that very rarely happened.
Indeed, that was likely why the department stuck her with Nerima ward. She was an accomplished officer, to be sure, with many cases to her name. However, her uncontrollable sex drive made it hard for her to concentrate. That one car she crashed while staring at a hot tourist was the last straw: her ass was on a bike guarding a sleepy part of town. Not that she minded as much, of course, since it gave her easy access to Soun's dreamy ass during lunch break and after hours, but she was used to seeing more action, in more ways than one. All she ever dealt with here in Nerima were minor offenses and cats in trees. Ah well, at least there was the occasional speeder to bang in the back seat.
Her radio chirped to life, breaking her out of her train of thought. “Requesting assistance at Tendo dojo-”
Ranma didn't even wait for dispatch to give the directions before grabbing her radio and replying. “Saotome here, I'm on my way!” With that, she revved up her motorbike and turned back toward the dojo. The dispatcher relayed to her what happened.
