"That's right, I don't understand it all myself," admitted Naruto.
"Currently you have pactio with your fiancee Hinata, and Kiba through Akamaru," continued Kakashi.
"That's right," agreed Naruto, wondering where this conversation was going.
"Why not pactio with Sakura then?" asked Kakashi.
"Well, I'm not entirely-" began Naruto.
"WHAT?!" screamed Sakura loud enough that birds fell out of nearby trees. "ME KISS NARUTO?! NEVER! NOT IF HE WAS THE LAST BOY ON EARTH! ARE YOU (bleep) NUTS?!"
Naruto twitched a few times from where he'd fallen over on his side from the audio assault.
"I'd rather pactio with Sasuke," finished Sakura as she held a hand over her mouth and had the grace to look embarassed.
"I don't 'pactio'," said Sasuke as they finally came in direct line of sight of the village.
"That's right, it's a bloodline limit," explained Kakashi. "Like Hinata's Byakugan - that allows her to see chakra lines and perceive the world around her despite obstacles and distance. Naruto's kekkei genkai is a sort of summoning jutsu that enhances a specific partner."
"Yeah, Hinata gets a couple of extra jutsu and some kinda weapon out of it," said Naruto. "I dunno what Kiba gets out of it."
"That's why I brought it up," said Kakashi as they passed the guards at the gate to the village. "There's also the communication and teleport uses for the pactio cards. Don't discount any little benefits you can get over your opponent."
Noticing that Sasuke had lifted up one foot and was checking the bottom of his sandal, and wanting to divert attention from the possibility of having her first kiss go to Naruto, Sakura gave a playful kick at Sasuke's head. That this would flash her legs at Sasuke was icing on the cake. "I've already got talents..."
Sasuke leaned out of the way of the kick, idly wondering why violent women seemed to find reasons to bug him. Unfortunately he overbalanced.
"Whoa," said Naruto, who had likewise heard something crunch under HIS sandal, and who was likewise off-balance as Sasuke crashed into him.
"WAGHHHHH!" said Sakura as a little dribble of blood oozed out one nostril at the sight of Sasuke kissing Naruto as they were sprawled across a section of muddy ground.
"AGHHHHHHHHH!" screamed dozens of female voices from the nearby area.
"oh dear," said Kakashi.
FWASH! went a light show of rotating blue circles and runes.
fwoop went three cards into one which split to two which then hung in front of Sasuke and Naruto until two numb hands grasped them.
"AGHHHHHHHHH!" screamed Sasuke and Naruto as they both ran off in different directions.
"Well, I suppose THAT was inevitable really," said Kakashi. "Though I didn't expect you to push the two of them together."
Sakura sagged to her knees, then began running herself when she felt the hostility being directed at her from various other fanclub members.
