Major Kuross' subordinates might have considered that a blessing at that moment.
"I shall retreive those who have escaped me," ranted the Imperial officer, "This shall prove to be a challenge, but it is nothing for one such as I. My forces shall not be swayed from finding where ever Erinnica Tate and Akane Tenso shall go. Once they have, then it will be no trouble to retrive them and bring them back to where they belong..."
It was little wonder then that his squad had the most visits to the medical department for headaches of their division.
Back on Macho Grande, one of the henchmen left alive and conscious looked concernedly at his boss. "Something bothering ya?"
"'Something bothering me?'" growled the official who had interrogated Red, "Oh no, why ever would you think that? We only lost just about every slave here!"
"Oh, okay. I was worried that something bad had happened... ERK!"
The official glared at his subordinate as he grabbed the lackey by the collar. "'Something bad' has already happened. And if you keep this up, I'll let you explain to the big boys just why our merchandise is gone! And then I'll 'volunteer' you to go and carry that message to the Hutts!"
"Uhhh..."
"I don't need you to say a damn thing! First we deal with the situation here."
"And then what?" gasped the lackey.
"'And then' we go and retreive our property. And when I find out exactly who the hell it was that set this little escapade up, they'll wish that they had taken an opportunity to step out for a nice little stroll... in hard vaccum. Without a suit."
"... Once I have gotten the two women in my hands, then I shall be sure to take care of them as they should be. And all shall know that I, Major Kuross, am a force to be reckoned with. Not only will I return victorious, but I will be showing that I can do so very well..."
Sav was trying to figure out if his control panels would take a headbutting.
Mirg was gritting his teeth over the fact that he could have been on his way to find some... special company.
Reaver just twirled a dagger about her fingers and was obviously thinking dark thoughts.
"... All those who had ignored me shall soon see that I am not one to be trifled with..." Not that the Major noticed tha, or the fact that everyone had already set a course for where there quarry was heading. And while Kuross continued to blather on,:
